The quality is great as the material is thick and stitched well. It is a very pretty deep shade of red and wears well. It also fits true to size and is a flattering cut. I got several compliments at the party I attended wearing this costume. The hood comes separate and is also the same velvet feel and good quality. This is a great costume and well made enough to have the appearance of a hand made costume! Very impressed!

   This costume was wonderful! The material is a very nice velvety material. The skirt really holds its shape and pops out beautifully.I'm very tiny, 5'4" and about 102 pounds, so I ordered an xs. In retrospect, I probably should have ordered a size up because it was quite tight and far too short to wear in public, even with the built-in petticoat which adds a nice inch or so. It showed underwear without even bending over! Also, the too area seemed like it was made for someone who has quite a large chest, but that was easily fixable. Overall, this costume was really cute and with just a few tweaks ended up being perfect and very affordable!
