   This was so perfect! I read a lot of reviews for different Red Riding Hood costumes and this one seemed to get the best reviews overall. I was not disappointed. The cape is a pretty heavy sort of velvet material that was a lot of fun to wear and looked great. The costume itself was also of a decently good quality fabric and held together well. I am a 36 DD and slender and it is usually very hard to find ready wear anything let alone a costume. This fit great! I was so excited that it worked out so well. There was room for my boobs and didn't drape on my like most things large enough to accommodate my chest. It was fitted throughout the waste and flared out perfectly. I bought a white tutu thing to wear underneath as well as white thigh highs and mary jane heels. It really added to the overall costume.

For the price I was really surprised on how great the quality was. The cape kept me warm all night & I didn't even need a jacket. If your thinking of getting a little red costume this is it! I'm 5'5 145lbs 27 inch waist and 40 inch hips & I ordered a small. Fit me like glove. If your my size I'd recommend a medium, however I liked the snug look.

   Let me explain fits as expected…The costume itself is well-made, and came with all the pieces exactly as described. In reality, I hate buying costumes because they never really fit perfect - ever. I just don't perfectly fit the "proportions" of the costume measurements, like most women I'm sure don't. Therefore, I always buy the size up from what I probably should. Which in this case, was the right choice.

   This is such a beautiful costume that fitted perfectly.. the cape and the skirt part of this outfit is a dark red, with a velvety material which makes it look sooo expensive and high quality. It is on the shorter end so you could always pair it with tights or just rock it alone. I paired it with some black gloves and a little basket and maybe some high knees leather boots.    I loved this costume! I bought it for my average sized 10 year old daughter (She wears a size 8-10 in girls and is neither tall nor short) hoping that it would be workable. I figured, after reading the reviews, it might actually fit, and worse case scenario, we could use the hood. I was more than happy! It zipped up and fit her ribs perfectly, and went to her mid-thigh. It was still none too long--I can't *imagine* what this would look like on someone taller than 5 foot! We did have to tuck in the frilly bust, but it looked fine, especially when we added the hood. We did have her wear a frilly petticoat, but it would have been pretty cute without. (She did complain that the lacy part was scratchy before we added the poof-slip) The fabric was lovely, and the hood was long and gorgeous . I'm considering buying this in a size medium for my 14 year old (she's short) so they can wear them without the hoods as little Christmas dresses. High quality, worth the money, but no one over 5 feet tall should wear this dress and expect their bottom not to be hanging out.

   I wanted to leave a review for this product just because when buying Halloween costumes...you just get ripped off a lot. On a lot of costumes the product is bad and fits horrible. I received my costume today and I am very very pleased. For the price of this you just cannot go wrong. The dress and cape our made of some kind of velvet material that is very pleasing to the eyes. The cape is a actual cape and not some stupid piece of material that just has a hood and ends at the neck. The cape reached the bottom of the dress. There is a petticoat under it that does a good enough job, if you don't want to buy one. I chose to buy one, but either way it will work. The colors are bright and vibrant. The only thing that I will have to do is take in the breast area, But I kinda knew I might have to do that from what the sizing numbers were. It's a easy fix that will take only a few minutes.

   Wore this for Halloween and it was a great costume! Amazing for the cost and no one could believe how little I spent on it! The whole costume is well done and the cape alone is very nice. I did have to lightly press it with a warm iron to get the wrinkles out but I was careful and used an ironing cloth on top. Nothing too hot. I also had to fluff the underskirt material and didn't do enough of that before the party so it would be the best it could look. Be sure to keep pulling the tulle underneath to get the lace to peak out nicely. It's a costume that's going to get reused as often as I can over the years and it looks like it'll last. My bra straps did show a little and the zipper went wonky the first time I zipped it, but with careful zipping, it's fine. Otherwise, couldn't recommend this costume enough! Just watch out for the big bad wolf that's sure to follow you if you wear this!
