   Last time I got the double wall carafe. My husband accidentally broke it. It kept the coffee hotter than this one which isn't insulated but we drink our coffee pretty fast. This one holds more coffee which is a pro and it's about the same size. Depends on your needs. I like them both for various reasons. Pour over coffee is the best. We have used many types of coffee makers and this is our current favorite

I use filters in the one it came with with which reduces sediment. I can make 1 or 2 cups of coffee, and not waste a thing. One of the best purchases I've made here in a while!

However, in my opinion when I examined the present, the glass seemed a little thin. Then again, I am not the one using it and my present has not gotten any bad comments. I am slightly tempted to get one for myself.
