One side is slightly lower than the other and you can also remove a section of the foam if it is too high for you. It holds its shape nicely and is also very comfortable. This keeps my cervical spine in alignment, and I wake up with much less pain. I would definitely recommend this!

So far so good. No smell, firm yet comfortable. I purchased this pillow for multiple reasons and so far it has been the answer to my prayers. I have degenerative disc disease in my neck (C6, C7 & C8) and have a hard time sleeping and getting comfortable in all sleep positions. This pillow not only has allowed me to lay on my back in the perfect position to sleep comfortably but has also allowed me to sleep on my side and stomach which I cannot do with a regular pillow.
