For many years, I have had sinus problems & have found that the best way to treat sinus congestion &/or infections is to irrigrate. Antibiotics frequently don't work but if you can flush the infection out it is much more effective. I bought this unit to replace a water pic irrigator (that worked with the Grossan adaptor) that I had purchased 15 or more years ago. I found this one to be more gentle but still get the job done! Yes, I would highly recomend this to keep the nose & sinuses clear. You must remember to use it on a regular basis or at least at the very first sign of congestion.
