   I used this machine to strip scrap THHN wire that I have been saving from broken reels or leftovers from jobs. I spent 8hours this week using the machine and stopped allof my wire. I made $762 in bright #1 copper at the scrap yard. Without stripping the wire the scrap price would be about half as much. After 8 hours of use, the blade is as sharp as it was out of the box. I stripped wire from #14, #12, #10, #6, #2, and #1/0 with ease. I highly recommend getting this machine. It straps wire around 50' per minute.

I would definitely recommend this item to anyone that might have a use for it. You'll get a lot more cash for prepared copper as opposed to unprepared.

I'm very happy with my purchase. The only complaint I have is it takes practice and a whole lot of patience getting it adjusted to the correct cutting depth.

   If you strip wire by hand and do it often this works awsome and is worth the investment. Right out of the box I stripped 10 gauge stranded wire 1000 ft no problem then I tried the aluminum service wire must be 1 gauge wire with hard plastic shielding stripped it without a problem worth every dime its quiet and so far well built but looks simple to work on
