   I have the 40lbs version and I can barely sprint a 400m without needing a couple of minutes of breaks and I would say I have a good physique. However, for walking, this thing works like a charm. I did very basic math and figured that it adds about somewhere between 5%-10% of extra calories burned, depending on your weight-bodyweight ratio. If that's too low, go up in weight at your own risk. Anything beyond walking is not recommended due to the strains on your joints. But I ain't no doctor. I just use it for walking and the very rare sprints. This vest could be useful for bodyweight exercises but you might as well just go to the gym and do compound exercises and core isolation movements. Since the vest is kind of limiting in movement, I would keep any exercises simple (push-ups, pull-ups, squats). My experience is my own but this product is good for what I need.

   Due to the virus situation with my gym closed, I was searching for an affordable yet high quality weighted training vest. This one by North Gym was within my budget, and there were only 3 left in stock so I acted quickly. I'm very pleased with the quality of the vest. I've never done weighted walking or rucking before, so the first few workouts were rather challenging, but I've since gotten used to it and now it's a piece of cake! Feels like I'm not even wearing a vest - that is how comfortable this weighted vest is. 20lbs was perfect to start with and I would love to see heavier plates sold so that I can keep adding resistance!

   I use this to supplement my walking days to keep my calorie burn up while also maintaining core stability and an excuse to work on my calves. Try to put on weight a little at a time until you can put on all the weight. Or don't. The nice thing about this is that it has the weights at 4 lb increments (this depends on the total weight bought).

   Secure. Bought the 141 pound version so can only vouch for that but it's clearly constructed very solidly. It holds together with velcro straps and I haven't maxed it out yet to see if the velcro is enough, but it's handled 100 pounds very sturdily. I use this for workouts during the quarantine as all gyms were shut down and people snagged all the other workout equipment. I was able to maintain all of my muscle weight with the aid of this vest, some adjustable dumbbells, a pullup bar and some elite fts resistance bands. I bought the shoulder pads but haven't needed them yet as it feels just fine without them (even with keeping it on for 30 minutes). Now that the gyms are potentially opening again, I'm not sure how much use I will get out of it, but rest assured at least once a week I'll be doing the bodyweight with vest a dumbbell conditioning circuit and some extended weighted walks.

   Very satisfied with overall quality and performance of this vest. It's exactly what I was hoping for in doing squats and deadlifts (etc) at home. I found that using these in combination with heavy elastic bands (see the "gonex" bands) and dumbells, I can get some pretty good resistance while still being able to get the vest on without killing myself.
