   I have had a serious problem with skunks for a few years. I have tried other methods, but they relentlessly return. Within a day of placing this device facing the area of where they liked to hang out, they stopped coming by. In fact, I saw one in the area and it seemed to be literally running away. I've had the device out there, in the backyard, for two full months, and their presence, and stink, has been gone the whole time. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this product. ..... From my experience, set the device on the recommended frequency , point it toward the area that they like to be, and let it do the job.

   I wasn't for sure this would work. But, I figured what have I got to loose. It works great, Haven't had any dog's scratching in my flower beds anymore. Except when we park to close to house and it blocks the Inferred censor from picking them up. The dog's run off when they hear it. I have mine plugged in on our front porch to a switch inside the house. This way if we are out front unloading our car we can shut it off and we won't have to hear the censor churp.It doesn't bother me but it does bother my daughter. I would difinitely recommend this to other's for keeping animal's out of your yard.

   This works great for human neighbors who use your yard for their dogs. The pitch is super high and obnoxious and the motion is great. The dog didn't seem to mind so much but the neighbor was very embarrassed when there was a screeching humm as she stepped into my yard. It didn't last long with the weather but did its job while it worked.

   I've had a gopher problem for 15 years and have barely been able to keep them at bay with poison and traps. I bought this and set it up for part of my back yard. I couldn't hear a thing, but it drove the kids nuts and they didn't want to play in the yard anymore. I adjusted the frequency up and the volume down so they couldn't really hear it any more unless they got real close to it. I have not gotten any gophers in that part of the yard now for about 2 months. I just ordered 2 more so I can cover the rest of the back yard and the front yard. Just want to say that it seems to work. I know its probably politically incorrect to say this, but if you have a problem with neighbor kids, this would also probably work pretty good.

In fact, one time I had a rubbermaid garbage can with a snap on lid and a bungee cord from handle to handle to keep them out. The next morning I woke to see that the can was toppled over and the garbage pulled out of it. The lid and bungee were still in tact, so apparently the pest pulled it through the cracks between the lid and can.

   I'd tried everything to keep squirrels from eating all the branches off of a chinese elm in front of my home -- every year the gray squirrels denuded the tree in late September when the tree produces seeds (yes, in the fall!), leaving the tree in bad shape for the next spring. I tried pepper spray, cougar urine, blood -- nothing worked. And guns are not allowed inside the City limits, where squirrels are protected! I placed the Yard Gard box on the outside wall of my house facing the tree and put it on continuous sound production during the day -- a timer turns it off at night. Instead of 15-20 squirrels in the tree, I get an occasional squirrel (they come in on the overhead power lines) grabbing a mouthful of seeds before it runs away. The tree has all its leaves for the first time in 10 years!
