This device uses no water . Has different levels of intensity and is easy to use. I am very happy with my purchase and ordered another one right away.    I received my dental calculus remover today. I plugged it in while I was on my computer and it was fully charged in 10 mins. I immediately started using it. It worked great! I had a little more than normal buildup on my teeth because it's been 2 yrs since I have had my teeth cleaned at the dental office. So expensive now a days and dental insurance is not what it used to be. Depending on the amount of buildup on your teeth it make take a few times going over your teeth like I had to. Be patient it will come off. The hook tools and mirror that come with it aide in getting some of the harder plaque off. Very happy with my purchase!

   I am a coffee drinker and find that simply brushing does not remove the staining/build up between my teeth or at the gum line. I wasn't looking for a whitener, just something to clean where my brush doesn't. This did the trick for me. It is painless. It does take patience. I picked this one because it included the tools. The pick is very sharp and I find it nice to help with the really tight spots. No regrets on this purchase.

I was a little nervous about using the highest setting and I also wanted to watch in a mirror to see where I was using it, which was a little awkward for me. But I was able to remove some visible plaque from my teeth using a medium setting. I imagine it will probably take some time and practice to find the right intensity and develop the best technique. But, I am pleased with this tool and think it will help in between my regular visits to the dentist.

If you like that squeaky clean feeling after you leave the dentist for a cleaning, I suggest buying this.    I am a dental assistant so I was hesitant to buy one but I’m obsessed with picking at my teeth. This ultrasonic scaler was a nice handheld way to clean harder debris off my teeth. This should not be used instead of going to the dentist but it will help keep your teeth cleaner than just brushing and flossing alone. The added scaler and mirror was a nice bonus and they were sharp! It’s definitely worth giving a try especially for the price but it will take some getting used to if your not familiar with how to properly scale your teeth
