   This is my first time owning a pocket hole jig and it has worked beautifully for one of my projects. I made a set of drawers to go in the bed of my pickup truck. I made approximately 100 to 120 pocket holes and this thing has held up beautifully. Based on the appearance, I don't know if the bolt that clamps the wood onto the jig will last a long time, but so far, it's held up alright. Well worth the money.

   Pretty good jig. I used it to make a loft bed with no problems. The only drawback to this is no quick release so it does take a few extra seconds to set up. Not a big deal, but it does become repetitive after a while. Other than that, it makes pocket holes just like it's supposed to.

   This is my first pocket hole jig. I'm quite pleased with the results. This was very easy to use. There's no plastic. And, it was extremely accurate. I did not have any problems with the drill bit that comes in the kit (other people had noted some issues, which made me a little hesitant to purchase it). If you don't mind the mess of powdered graphite, I found it helpful to coat interior of the jig with graphite to minimize drill bit friction.

The plastic on the clamp doesn't feel the most durable. So far everything is great and I will update this review if anything takes place.

   Quarter the cost and just as effective. Personally I perfer the screw clamp to. The clamp keg uses often will send things flying releasing it. Did pocket wholes for wainscoting panels and this was perfect. Spread everything up gave me perfect squares. Did like 50 slats in 30 mins. If u need pocket wholes and plan on doing a project that requires alot of repetition with pocket wholes. It's a must have. Cut time down in half

   I recently purchased this item as a gift however I've personally owned one of these tools for over ten years and have done hundreds of pocket holes in that time. It has always done a great job for me and the jig and drill bit itself are still working fine, they haven't worn out or broken in all this time. I really don't understand the negative reviews I've read on this product. I kinda wonder if the people writing these reviews have a financial interest in selling the competing Kreg jig. I've used the Kreg pocket hole jig and while it works fine it cost up to three times what I paid for the General brand jig and doesn't seem to work any better. You don't always get what you pay for
