   This little tool is great. Glad I didn't go with a pricier option, this did exactly what I needed (making pocket holes in 2x4s, 3/4” and 1/2 ply pieces). You do need a screwdriver with a socket that fits round shank attachments to use the included drill bit, drill bit does not fit into an impact screwdriver.

   Great jig, particularly for the cost. I make a lot of tables/furniture out of 3/4" material, and this is perfect for that. Any more or less and you might have trouble. I had the $40 kreg system before this and accidentally poured resin on it, thereby ruining it. So I shopped for an alternative. This is what I needed. Made 4 legs for some end tables in about 1/3 the time than with my old jig, and with almost none of the wrist strain. Real easy to screw to a workbench and fly through material. No issues with the bit breaking yet or poor machining. But I've had about 3 kreg bits bust on me anyways, so I expect it eventually. Once again, great for 3/4" material. Don't expect it to work well on other thicknesses.

   Looks great and should work as it is supposed to. Had another one but I cannot find it. I was hoping it would show up once I purchased the new one since I had built different bushings for it. No such luck. Oh well I will make new bushings for this one then I will probably find it. The drill bit is actually good. If you use it wrong it will break. I had 5 years on one bit before I dropped it. Made a new better cobalt bit on my lathe with a tool post grinder. Used correctly it will make useful pocket holes very easily.

   It's very similar to the Kreg pocket jig kit, but I do wish it had a setting for different types of wood and nail length like the Kreg one has. You can split the wood if you were not careful, but it honestly works great for my needs and you can't beat the price!

The kit has everything that you need to get started and I found it easier to use. The size of the unit and space in the clamp is enough to use it with 2” stock, it was also easy to adjust and versatile enough to use with the 1” that I used for my project. The quality of the materials and the ease of use make this as good of a product as the name brand. The materials fit the bill and I have no real complaints about this purchase.

   I got this during prime days and recently used it on a project. I have never used pocket holes before but was building a mud room bench and didn't want to nail or screw from the top. I put the pocket holes on the 2x4 frame pieces and screwed into the 3/4” plywood seat. Worked out perfectly!

   Am not a talented woodworker but I built my own mobile cart for the garage and used this to help attach some trim around the edges from the inside to make it look a little more professional. Easy to clamp on and use, being done from the underside i didn't use any of the dowel pegs to fill the holes but rest of the kit was a help.
