   To be honest this is the simplest solution to a problem that shouldn't exist. My 2015 Q5 has NO BLUETOOTH for music. The phone works but no music. I love the car so I purchased it anyway, used. After way too much time researching this issue, the ad for this popped up on some web page I was on. It arrived 10 minutes ago, I had it plugged in and functioning inside of 30 seconds. Sounds great, easy to install. My iphoneX needs the adapter for it but that's an apple issue. If you have an Audi with the MMI buy with confidence. This works.

   This is the fourth MDI cord I've tried for my VW Eos that had an outdated media input. The first three all worked as an aux cord, however it would constantly cycle through charging on and off because the lightning connection was weak. While this isn't a connection for iPhone, it works with my adapter and the sound quality is excellent. I wish it acted like a charger, but being aux-only is MUCH preferred to the ones that kept my phone beeping and buzzing the entire drive because they tried to charge but couldn't.

I've had this aux cord for 7 months and it still works perfect, normally I've had to replace aux cords by now because they start getting staticky or the get a short but this cord is still going strong.
