I've made about a dozen ice balls already, it does exactly what it should. After making about 2 or 3 in a row you'll have to warm the mold up with some warm/hot water to make more, but that only takes a few seconds. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants a more reasonably priced ice press to try out.

   I tried to make my own but after much work and experimentation I bought this rig. Wow I'm so glad I did. This just flat works, don't leave in freezer longer then 24 hours as you want a bit of unfrozen water in the bottom reservoir when the balls are frozen. This prevents the water from freezing solid and risking damage due to cracking. You will only make 2 balls in 24 hours just harvest at happy hour and enjoy 2 perfectly clear iceballs that disappear in your drink. Reset and harvest 2 the next day.Tip, place the ball in the glass and let sit for 3-5 minutes to temper the ice, this will prevent cracking when you pour liquid on the ice ball.Enjoy.

The ice pops right out of the molds really easy and stays for the entire time you are enjoying your drink. Takes about a day and a half to freeze from warm water to solid ice.

   I love this ice-ball mold. It came beautifully packaged with more elegance than I would have expected for a Silicone ice mold. I was skeptical whether it would work or even if I really would enjoy a ball of ice floating around in a cold drink. Amazingly, it was easy to take apart, wash, fill with water, put back together (without leaks) and then freeze. Even better, it was easy to take apart when frozen and plop it into a glass.
