   My house is very old with old dimensions between the doorknobs, frames and strike plate- the lock simply couldn't fit into all locks but it fit one lock, the most important one, the front door. It locks securely and will deter any attempt at an easy, fast, quiet break-and-enter situation. An excellent buy at a great price, requires no drilling or installation and only requires a little dexterity with the hand to hold it in place while you close the door. Small difficulty for a good measure of peace of mind. Also comes with a nice travel bag.

   Traveling cross country alone and staying in motels and air bnbs, so wanted this extra layer of protection. I'm really loving this lock. I didn't fully understand how it worked until I got it. It's the prongs that stick in the hole for the bolt that make it work with the hook. Super easy to use. It has two sides so can be used with deadbolts or regular doorknobs. With the doorknob option, this even works as a lock on doors that don't have one! Definitely provides me with more peace of mind.

   I purchased two locks for my daughter's new apartment. This was purchased to keep someone from just using a key and coming in while my daughter unknowingly aware that someone is entering through her apartment door. This is also great for keeping my 5 year old Granddaughter from opening the door without permission when someone knocks. While I like this for a temporary block, the red piece is made of plastic and while it would keep someone from opening the door normally, it would not keep someone from using force to open door.

   This worked perfect for out apartment door. I don’t think it would be to great for travel as it is cumbersome to bring in a suitcase. Worked really well for our door as we had a good gap at the bottom. Since then, the landlord has installed a strip across the bottom of the door to keep out mice. Because of this, we don’t have a gap anymore and can’t use it on this apartment door. I think this is a really secure and safe instrument for keeping people out when you are in the house. You just have to be sure you have a slight gap at the bottom of the door for it to slide under.

All of these products are EXTREMELY GOOD, so I probably didn't need all three. But why take a chance? Any chance at all?? I have stood on the other side of my door while my gold-standard, "pick-proof", flagship lock WAS PICKED!!! And only the timely intervention of the Beaverton Police Dept. (Or.) SAVED MY LIFE!!! These items cost less than $70.00, and offer more security than ANY LOCK! Why risk your LIFE??? Buy these items. They WORK!!!!!!
