There just anything better than lying in a hammock under the shade of a mighty oak and, gently swinging in the breeze. I take my book, a glass of tea and r e l a x. It's not quite as big as I thought it would be, but it does stretch a lot, so it may stretch with time.

   I looked at quite a few hammocks before I ordered this one and was a little unsure about it since it was far from expensive. I also order and then purchased the carabiner hooks at a big box store. Those items brought the cost . When the package showed up (in three days) it made me a little nervous; it was very small. It turns out I had nothing to worry about. It took me about a half hour to put the straps on the trees and hang the hammock between two trees and take it for a test run. NICE!

   I am, however, purchasing a replacement for this year since it is far more comfortable than any other hammock we have purchased and we have a hammock every year (perfect trees in the back yard). My suggestion, if mildew occurs, carefully soak the hammock in bleach water and then rinse. Be careful not to tangle the lines. You can imagine what the washing machine did to those. It was ugly.

Once you've used it one time this will always be the first thing you pack next time. Or you may find a permanent spot to hang it at home. I don't have that commodity so if you do hang it at home I'll pout!!!

   I love my Hammock! I bought one of these in color back in 2021 and it never fell apart. I stored it in the garage and rodents got the best of it this past winter. All in all I got 1 years out of it so I was happy. This time I got the white one for variation but the colorful one was def nice. It's a big hit for park trips and camping trips so I may actually buy a coloreful one also so there's more than one hammock.

   This is a beautiful hammock. The weave of the strings is tight, in a pretty pattern. It is woven way tighter than the net type ones I have seen. The strings almost feel like silk, they are smooth and fine. The color appears pink in the photo above, but it is the off-white color of unbleached cotton. Although it was not what I was looking for, I was not at all disappointed in the quality of the hammock. It is a beautiful, well made, comfortable, classy looking hammock. You won't be disappointed.

   It has been left it out in the rain a couple times and it dried quickly, but I typically take it down when extended rain is forecast and hang it in the shed on hooks I installed on opposite walls. I would advise to be careful with it if you are taking in down and moving it around to keep the threads at the ends from getting tangled. I can see how it would be a nightmare to untangle if you just take it down and drop it in a pile somewhere.

   I had one of those nylon hammocks for a while, and I thought it was great until I got in it with cargo shorts on. I was napping comfortably and "TUNG!" the stupid nylon ripped perfectly in the middle and I hit hard on the ground. I am lucky I didn't break my butt bones! It was a camp rousing disaster. They all thought I was dead! Anyway, I have no fear of a critical failure like that happening with this since it's just a big net. Can't wait to use it again this year.
