   OK, first of all no two hands are alike and the braces need to be adjusted for your individual comfort and support. I personally felt the best comfort and suport when I pulled the palm section end below my wrist bone and stretched fairly tight . I use heavy to medium pressure to secure the first (round) velcro surface. Then, on the remaining wrap around portion I use light to medium pressure to finish the fit. Also, play around where you place the larger velcro - up, down, middle. For the price these are a steal. As far as the whiners go about them stinking after use - wash then occasionally or soak them in water and baking soda - DUH!

   I wear these to bed when my wrists are acting up, and they usually feel much better by morning. This is actually the second pair I've ordered. The first pair lasted a year before the Velcro got so full of fuzz that it didn't latch well anymore. So just be mindful of how you store them!

   Added to the fact I spend several hours a day typing on a keyboard, it is easy to see why I need these. The thing that makes these a bit different and better is the comfort level, I have used wrist supports of all kinds for years but most were uncomfortable after an hour or less. Many caused my hands to sweat which in turn made the supports smell really bad. The worst thing was that many (most?) of them would eventually allow the Velcro to rub on my arm and if left alone would start to remove skin so these were a pleasant surprise. None of these problems have popped up with these, I can wear them for hours while typing or pretty much anything I normally do so I am giving these an easy 5 stars for a great product that gives a lot of relief.

   I love these! I have TOS and ulnar nerve damage on both arms/hands and my hands/wrists curl in 24/7. On top of that, I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, so they're hyperextending and it hurts so much! But these gently prevent them from curling at such a severe angle, while also giving me a small amount of mobility, which is perfect. They're comfy, and easy to put on. They also have a piece of the Velcro-like surface half way on the wrap so it can be adjusted easily without the whole thing coming off. I'm so happy with this purchase!!

   I'm still trying to get used to sleeping with something on my wrist, but it's worth it. My fingers go numb while sleeping and sometimes causes pain so badly that it wakes me up. The first night I wore one I became irritated in the middle of the night and took it off after which my symptoms almost immediately began. Put it back on and had no problems. Night 2 was a success and the discomfort of having it wrapped around my wrist was more bearable that the discomfort I have without it. They are lightweight and much more comfortable than other versions that go further up the arm and aren't flexible. These allow me to still move while offering the support I need. I'm glad I finally broke down and purchased these.

   I don't normally post reviews but am so pleased with this product that I felt I had to. My job involves working on a keyboard all day and I've begun to develop problems with my right wrist to the point of extreme discomfort. I use an ergonomic mouse and have tried gel pads for support, but the gel pads only seem to make matters worse. I also tried a couple of the larger wrist supports with the stiff undersides, but found them extremely difficult - if not impossible - to do any serious keyboarding with. As skeptical as I was about trying yet another product, I'm so glad I did as this one really seems to help! (By the way, be sure to look at the tag on the inside. I was using the one for the wrong hand for days without realizing it! )
