I have a love/hate relationship with this mat. But I can’t deny that it’s been extremely effective for me. I have chronic back pain. I would lay in bed late at night, unable to fall asleep due to the amount of pain I’m in. When you first lay down on the mat (I do so naked lol), it’s very painful, but it’s bearable. After a few minutes, the pain is less and I get a feeling of warmth in my back. I try to do it for at least 10 minutes. When I get off, my back is bright red with a thousand dimples. But, my chronic pain is GONE. Like completely. Well, at least for a couple hours. The 10 minutes of torture is totally worth it. I don’t know why or how it works, but it does. After the thousands of dollars I’ve spent on Amazon over the years on all kinds of random things… I must say this might be the best purchase I’ve ever made. Thank you for literally changing my life!

This little torture device has been great for relieving my back pain as well as taking time out of my day to relax and meditate. I love laying on this mat and pillow every evening and even my husband has started to use it. If you have a lower pain tolerance I recommend laying on it with a thin shirt until you get used to the little points on the mat. I almost purchased a very similar product, but it was over $100. This option is much better on the wallet and is still great quality and does the same job.

I use both the pillow and mat and wear thin clothing because I have high pain tolerance. When I am feeling extremely stressed, anxious, and my muscles are tense I lay on it on the bed and within 30 minutes I feel much better. You can use the little pillow for your feet (wear thin socks) when sitting at a desk, too. This product is so worth it!
