   This chess set is awesome. My husband and 11 year old son love to play chess but my son kept losing chess pieces so I got him this for his birthday in July. The pieces go right back in their little spots. So far no pieces are lost. The board is lightweight and even so when you set it up there is no wiggling or leaning. The prices are well made but also lightweight. I really wanted a heavier set but did not want to pay a heavier price so this was a great alternative. We are very satisfied.

   Very nice set. I have it set up in my office. I put some very thin felt pads on the corners and the board sits perfectly. But the best thing about this set is the perfect size ratio between the board and the pieces. The board is not too big for the pieces and the pieces don't overpower the board. In my opinion the game is meant to be played and not viewed so if you're going to play the game this is a great set, if you want to have a show piece spend a few hundred more, I'll still beat you.

   We liked the chess set very much. Looks very elegant. Also folds as a case to secure the pieces for storage. Had been pushing my child to learn chess in the iPad, but the physical chess set actually generated the interest to learn and play. I see a lot of improvement.
   Also, one of the rooks was a bit disfigured on the top side, but was still usable. I contacted the company and they immediately offered to send a replacement piece for free. They do stand by their promise to replace a piece even if you misplace them! Awesome customer service!
