My line of work I squat and climb ladders alot and the brace stays in place at the end of the day. The metal rods come out so that I can wash the brace. Am really happy with my brace so far.

   I was going to return this item, because I thought it was too tight. After 3 other knee braces, I was pretty disgusted. But I waited until the inflammation went down and tried again. I can get up from a chair and walk without holding on to furniture. The support is amazing!! I highly recommend it.
