   So far, so good. It has three modes, but does make sound. Not obnoxious, but you probably won't hear someone whisper on the third mode. My only complaint is occasionally hearing the fan blades make a lil bzzz noise which I can only assume is my hair, but it hasn't ripped my hair at any point. I just brush it aside when I hear it.
