   The first thing I noticed out of the box was build quality. Solid, quality construction, no cheap plastic feel. The second was the heat coming out of it. Hard to describe, but it seems more 'full' and 'rich' than other similar heaters. The third was the touch controls. It took me a minute to get used to them, as by default I was pushing down on them. Just a light bounce of the finger is all it takes. Nice smooth oscillation, particularly like the timed shut-off option. In short, massively impressed

   It seems like the management of our office building is trying to get it to snow inside and we are in Florida. I needed something to keep at my desk to be able to provide a little bit of warmth so I wouldn’t have to put on a jacket during the day. I found this online and it has been working perfectly. It is fairly quiet but put out a good amount of output. I like the fact that I can adjust the temperature or just turn on the fan if it’s warm in the office. The quality feels very good and I could see this being useful in a small room or office setting.

   Instead of heating the whole house with the furnace, I wanted some warmth while in the chair in the family room. This little unit puts out a great amount of heat. I found it best to place on the floor (actually on my fireplace hearth) about 2 feet from the chair. Using oscillation and set at 72F, the heat comes out and moves up nicely to warm me in the chair. If I placed it on a table at sitting height (~2ft up and ~2ft from me) the heat traveled up more than out, even with high fan speed, and hence did not warm me. ECO mode works great, changing the fan speed and pausing when the desired temperature is reached, restarting as needed. Too early to tell what the electric (unit) and gas (furnace) cost savings will be. Overall I am happy with the purchase.
