   I wanted it to work for cling wrap like in the video aaand...it DOES! I didn't have the right size cling wrap at first, but when I switched it, its perfect! The only thing I wish is that it stayed some what closed cause it get tossed around a bit in my cupboard. Make sure there is tension when you press cut. For foil, it works even better!

   The trick is to snap the lid down - rather briskly - after pulling out the foil. That forces the foil/paper down onto the metal teeth. Then, let up the pressure on the lid and easily remove the cut section. The only flaw is that the lid is always ajar - for OCD types, this is very annoying. I bought a different type (with the glide cutter) for plastic wrap. This style is great for foil, waxed & parchment paper. It's adjustable, with several slots to insert the roll holders, so varying lengths will fit.
