   Overall, a good purchase and I would buy again. I can see that it might wear out over time but if I can use this regularly for a year or so I'll be happy buying another. I've use a different type product for cutting holes in sheet metal that did not work as good and the bits wore our faster. I would love to see an accessory I could add for using the arm to cut larger holes and wider strips of sheet metal. The included arm is about 6 or 7". Overall, a good product for the price.

   This thing is huge, heavy yet dull and inadequate. It was barely able to cut 18 gauge copper sheet and it curled the edge which is an indication the blade is not sharp enough. I can't imagine trying to cut steel with this, you will be disappointed if that's what your intended use is.

   Robust built tool, no instructions included but it was self explanatory to install the 16" handle and to thread in the piece that secures metal being cut (see photo #3). The base was easily attached to a $40 WEN grinder pedestal without needing to drill any holes. The mounting hardware is included with the shear, which was a plus. Mounting holes are placed at 7 1/2" by 2 1/2" or 19.0 x 6.0 cm for you metric folks. The shear will not cut a full 5" wide so plan on 4 1/2" and I believe the thickness capacity could be greater with a longer handle. The blades are sharp and it walked right through a stainless steel silverware spoon handle. I just need to mount the pedestal to my shop floor. Well made and a nice price!
