I wouldn't leave this figure out in the garden over the winter, because I would be concerned about how the color and maybe the actual surface might be damaged by severe weather. If using as a garden decoration I would recommend placing somewhere it won't fall or be knocked into anything or the resin may break. This happened to me with a similar item.
