   Sitting all day on my computer pinched my sciatic nerve. Getting up from my chair was painful. Added extra cushions help a little bit. Using a heating pad relieve much of the pain. I needed a donut cushion and saw this one and read the reviews. The negative reviews said this cushion was too soft. Upon receipt, I thought the memory foam was too hard and may have to return it. I gave it a try and it felt comfortable. My nerve pain ease quite a bit already on the first day of use. Now using it for a few days and my sciatic nerve no longer bothers me. Cushion was not as hard as I thought and gave me good support. Very good product.

   Bought this for my postpartum recovery. Used it once while in the hospital. Nurse warned me that these can cause more issues later. As long as I had somewhere I could lean back a little more (not straight up on leaning forward, such as a metal folding chair) then I was ok without it. No matter how or where you sit immediately after having a baby, you're going to be sore and in pain. This helped when I did use it but not something I'd say you need for postpartum recovery.
