I really like this machine, I can whip up a hat in about 30 mins. It really works best with 3/4 weight, and the smoother the yarn, the better. Once you get to a coarse blend, or a thicker 4/5 worsted, the counter is no longer accurate, and it drops stitches more often.
It's still a great tool to add to my arsenal, I am very pleased.

I find this little machine is quieter than the Addi and the counter on this is very accurate, so far anyway. If you want to make hats and scarves in a hurry, this machine will do the job! I think the only yarn that really works with this particular machine is #4 worsted weight or #3 - nothing heavier or lighter.
