   These clamps are so much better than what I thought they would be. Very pleasantly surprised upon opening the box. They are heavy weight well made that provide a great deal of clamping force. The large screw mechanism has good sized handles thake make them easy to use. And the inner jaws pivot which is a big plus. I've only used them on two jobs so far, but I can tell these will be around for a long time. I'm actually ordering two more pairs. Highly recommended.

   Few minor issues but overall was surprised with quality. Little piece of steel in behind bottom of the adjustable jaw stops it from opening fully. Top 2 13/16 and bottom only goes 2 11/16. Cannot figure out the reason for built in stop but I'm sure it has a purpose. The only 2 real problems I have with tool is the fact that I did not find it years ago and that if it just opened a little further it would hold 3 1/2 in 2x4s and 4x4s. Sincerely a good purchase especially for the price.

   This was perfect for assembling pre-fab furniture by myself. Sometimes you just need an extra hand to help hold a piece while inserting a screw or attaching a hinge. They can be clamped on with one hand. They seem to be extremely durable. I would definitely recommend for any DIY people out there.

Should have had these long ago as they are like a set of helping hands. If you make picture frames or anything using almost any kind of 90 degree joints you will find these clamps most valuable.
