   I use it when I go camping and sleep with the flicker mode on. It's good enough to see what you want in the dark and the flicker is bright enough in a tent to see your layout next to you. I'm used to having no light because of the military, and this is a wonderful luxury.

   Got these for a camp trip this summer. Took them for a overnight trip with some friends. Let them borrow one and they were amazed at how well it worked and were asking where I bought them. They work great and I really like the different settings. We were actually pretty surprised at how bright the light is and used it as a flashlight walking around camp at night.

   I haven't camped with this item yet, but I played around with it in the dark in my house, like we all do. It's stupid bright when it's on, and the glowing effect of the rubber after you've switched it off stays on for a long time (I guess because it's so stupid bright). Smaller than I thought they'd be, but honestly that's a bonus for packing purposes. Did I mention these things are stupid bright? Do not look directly at them.

They give a decent amount of light and in a power outage its helpful to be able to set on a table. Haven't had to really use them yet,, but they worked fine when I tried them out..
