   WORKS ON DEER!! I bought two of these to scare deer away from my 60 foot by 25 foot garden behind my house because deer droppings were becoming a nuisance. I live on top of a hill and used to get between 6-10 piles of deer droppings a week in spite of the spray repellents I spent a bundle on. Its been two weeks and the deer wont come on the lawn. I can see them laying down the hill a hundred feet away but my yard is no longer a hang out where they used to sleep every day. I set the Hoont (dont get the knock offs) dials to full range and the frequency for deer per the directions and it WORKS!!! The panels where the rechargeable batteries go (included) look pretty cheesy and I wouldnt be surprised if water gets in them (rain/snow) but I am happy with the two weeks performance I got so far. I think I will put some duct tape over the panels to preserve their life..

   It took a little while to get this adjusted properly—you have to find the setting that works for you. I bought it to keep deer away, and so far it is working. My roses haven't been eaten this spring. One thing that might have helped is that I mounted it about 4 feet high on the bottom section of a patio umbrella. Just guessing here.

   Easy to install. Small so not so noticeable in the yard. Visible light flash is not enough to disturb neighbors - likely more impact on deer with their better night vision. Response range is better than advertised 30 ft. More like 40 - 50 ft. Short term results good so far. Hoofprints still, but no blooms eaten yet by the deer. It appears to be scaring them away so far. Don't have long term results yet.

I originally purchased 2 units and though the deer and cats would avoid the repellers they would adapt and find a way around them. I bought a third unit to give more coverage and now this forth unit should give us complete protection. I am very happy that these repellers really work.

   I got two of these to guard against ravenous squirrels eating my avocados, leaving many on the ground with teeth marks all over them. Since I installed two of these units about three weeks ago, the number of avocados I've found rotting on the ground has decreased drammatically. I have one on the ground pointing at the tree and another on a near-by fence at mid-level, also pointing at the tree. Both are on L+ at Sensitivity 5. I charged both of them via the supplied USB cord before installing them. That said, here in SoCal we get plenty of sunshine so it appears the units get recharged readily. Does it make sense to spend $60 to save about 25 avocados? Well, I do hope they last another season. It gets really hot down here so time will tell whether the units can survive in full sunshine and 100 degree temps. So far, I'm very impressed.
