   This tool makes it fast and easy to de-stem strawberries. The size of the blades makes it works best for large strawberries. The blades also cut a more oval shape, not round. So for any size strawberry you have to be precise in how you use the tool or you'll cut out too much of the fruit. But overall, it's a great tool.

   Everything they sell works amazingly and this is no different. It easily takes the top off of strawberries without wasting the parts you want to eat. It's just as quick as it is with a knife, and cleanup is as easy as throwing it in the dishwasher. I highly recommend this for anyone who eats strawberries.

   This is very easy to use and only needs a quick rinse under running water. I think the key is to close the blades slightly while holding them against the top of the strawberry. This will push the leaves up and get the blades close to the stem. After that, a quick push naturally closes the blades tightly enough to cut out the stem without twisting. If you start with the blades more open, you will have to twist to cut around the stem. I haven't cut out the stem with a paring knife since I got this. Even if you are only coring two or three strawberries, it is definitely worth using this tool instead of a knife. It seems well made and I expect it to last a long time. A little more expensive than the competition, but the knockoffs look like they are lower quality.

I was reluctant to try another brand because I liked my old one so much. I tried this one and it's really great. Just one pinch on the berry and the whole stem area is gone! Creates a uniform hole.
