   Very pretty fountain, many different attachments, according to taste. Although it is small, it does a lot of things and the splash is beneficial. I can't hear the engine. Ideal for the balcony but also for the garden. A great gift for people who don't have a power outlet outside to put on a high performance fountain. I cannot understand the negative criticisms. Even if the sprinkler would last only one week (got it two days ago, it would have enjoyed 7 days already. But it lasts longer. I know that from friends who have been running hers for four months. I can only laugh about the complaints that the fountain is not high enough. What expectations do some people have. In the small disk there is a solar collector, a tiny motor, a tiny pump and just for 15 euros. The power the sprinkler delivers is overwhelming for the size and without power supply. Very clear purchase recommendation.

   Worked well for a month and then became erratic and now does not work at all. It has a strong pump, so most of the water was sprayed outside of the birdbath we used it on. Thus we had to fill the birdbath up a few times a day.

   Leaving this review 10 months after purchase because it survived winter! Okay so it does need full sun and does turn into a somewhat pathetic spurt in the shade - that's fine by me though. If it floats near the edge of the pond it can spray water out of it but it's not managed to fully empty the pond before and it's simple to wedge it with plants into a position it can't float away from. I wanted some sort of fountain that didn't suck the tadpoles into the filter - and this worked perfectly last year with no dead tadpoles filling the filter. Keep it clean, both filter and solar panel, and it's great!

   We've only used one essay so far, so I can't say anything about the others. However, you should clean it regularly, otherwise the fun will soon be over.

   Very pleased but you do have keep checking the pump is under water, I put it in my bird bath but found that with the nozzles on it sprayed too high and after about 15 mins the water level was too low so now I don't put any nozzles on and it's much better.

   Suction power is good, even very good for such a small device. That is because the suction filter is clogged with fine algae sludge in a very short time.

   Pleasantly surprised by this little solar powered pump and fountain for my bird bath. Started working immediately I placed it in the birdbath as the sun was out and even on a slightly cloudier day it is working well. I haven't used the fountain attachment as I didn't want a higher fountain as I found it sprinkled over the side sometimes and nearly emptied the bird bath but so far it's doing exactly what I wanted it to with a nice gentle bubbling sound to add to the birds singing.
