   I originally received a salt lamp that did not work correctly and then eventually did not work at all. In communications with the seller, I mentioned my concerns with the product and they sent me a new one with no hassle. My new one works great and I love having it in my office at work! The color change is a soft, slow transition from one color to the next. It's small enough to fit on my desk and provide a relaxing focal point when I need to focus. It also makes a nice nightlight.

   I have 7 salt lamps and this is my least favorite. On the positive side, the shape is lovely and it is very bright, but it feels almost like it's made of acrylic and not real Himalayan Salt. The weight does not match the size and it has a much different texture to it. It's a beautiful shade of pink when it's off, but as soon as it's lit, it turns almost pure white. I understand salt lamps are natural and will vary greatly, but this is definitely not the same quality as my other salt lamps from other manufacturers.

   I love this salt lamp. In fact, I have 3 of them. My only concern for others to consider is whether you have children or animals that may knock this over. However, I put one in my 5 year old child's room to use as a “night light.” These lamps come in 2 parts, the lightbulb and electrical side and the salt rock. She tried to pick up the light and the salt part separated from the light. Overall I love the product, but something to consider if you have children or pets that may knock it over.

   I originally looked into Himalayan salt lamps for my health since I have asthma. . I am on a limited income, so I saved up and bought this one ! And it is so very beautiful, especially when it is lit up! It was really easy to install the light bulb. I wanted it on my bedside table so I would receive the benefits of the salt all night long. However when I look at it, I often forget that I bought it for my health. I will probably give one to someone for a gift so that they can enjoy it too!
