   I don't hunt, but I like to go outside with the dog. Having had massive spine fusion, when cold hits my spine it is like an ice pick through and through. So I have to wear sleeveless vests and warm undergarments to protect my back. This heated vest will be absolutely perfect to protect against such agony. I am so glad that I got it!

   If you live in any type of environment that gets cold ever i HIGHLY recommend these heated vest. I used to use one of the tool brand ones which now just seems silly when these are 1/4 of the cost and most importantly I love you can use literally any type of power bank which most people already own but even if not they are extremely cheap these days.

   I decided to try with it. It doesn't come with a spare battery, but I have a few for my phone. I made sure it was fully charged and plugged in. I love that there are three different heat settings and they heat up surprisingly quickly! It turned out nice and attractive when I took it fishing and I knew it would turn out to be the perfect version of my new winter wardrobe. Anyway, winter is bearable!

   I ordered the XL sized vest and it seems to be true to size, if not a little large. I wear XL in t-shirts, and it was looser than that, but since I plan to layer clothes and wear this vest on top of those other clothes, the additional size of this vest works out well. The material is soft and the vest isn't very heavy until you add a battery pack.

   To use these things you have to have a power pack like the ones you charge your phone with. They have a USB plug that comes out of the pocket. You hook a power pack to it and then you're ready to go. There is a little button near the pocket that you can see in my pictures that goes from green to red to blue to indicate which temperature you're choosing. it very helpful

   This product is especially nice in environments where it is cold in the morning, but warms up throughout the day. Turn the jacket on high (don't forget to press the power button the first time you plug it in or it won't work) first thing in the morning, as it gets warmer, turn the power down until you are fine with just the vest.

   I connected a 10,000mAh power bank to the vest's USB cable, which is located in the right outer pocket. I then pressed and held down the power button located on the bottom right of the vest, and the button illuminated red. I let it on for a few minutes and could feel it warming up. I pressed the button again, and the switch turned blue for the medium heat mode. Pressing the switch again changed the switch color to green, which is for low heat. Pressing it again, put it back into the red mode. Long pressing the switch turned it off.

   The product definitely works and I really appreciate that the product uses pretty much any portable USB charger. I have 5 of them, so that means I even have several spares. Also, this product isn't beholden to the battery life - nothing worse than buying a great product that doesn't work after 2 years because the permanent battery died. If your battery reaches the end of its life, just get another one!
