I was using tire levers, but destroyed rim tape and it took over an hour per tire. Broke many tire levers. The only thing that could be improved is the instructions. For really tight fitting tires (why you buy this tool), you need two tire levers. The first one is used to keep one side of the bead mounted on the rim. The second one is used to create a gap between the bead and the rim. Without the gap, this tool will not grab the bead. As to durability, it didn't break for the first tire mounted. Incredible leverage. Will purchase a second one, just in case this one eventually does break. An essential tool for your toolbox.
