   If you have ever broken a bead with a sledge, a jack, or any other medieval technology you will appreciate this device. The nuts are 30mm so you need a large wrench or socket. It took me 6 min per side to break a tractor tire bead and less than 1 hour to swap out tires on a 30 x 18.4 tractor tire.

   This bead breaker worked great for me, both tightening nuts took a large 11/4 wrench...have two trailer tires that were rusted bad, many years setting outside...popped them off with almost no afford...I had tried everything including a midsize tractor backhoe using the standards to try and break the bead ,did not work ,but this thing did...use hand pressure only on this device no impact wrenches and you should be successful..I am happy with the investment

   This contraption works great. Keep it lubricated and use hand tools only. I think the pin that pins the drive nut to the lead screw actually is a shear pin to prevent over torquing the lead screw and stripping the thread. Don't be tempted to use an impact gun or you will probably break it.

   Got it before delivery date,, was in bad need to change tire on my big tractor , started changing back tractor tire,, 18-4-38 wheel size,,15 mins. tops and old tire was on the ground,,worked as described and was a breeze to use,, big tire and i made 2 moves with little buddy on both sides and it was broke loose,,it was very tight to wheel but was no problem for little buddy,,,it payed for itself today,,anyone with farm needs one of these...highly recommend this tool

   I had the rear tires on one of my farm tractors replaced. I watched the repairman use a very similar tool which I discovered cost way more. Yes, it was easier to use because it was air powered but I do not intend to start a business changing tires. So I looked on line, found this one, the price was right and the results are the same. It worked as well and the tire was changed, nothing much more to say.
