   This has worked great for us while training our puppy. We love the 3 different levels, the lowest one that is audible to people is a little quiet but is a great warning beep when up close. The other 2 for sure will get our puppy's attention and we have noticed a difference in his reaction between the 2 levels. We have only used the highest setting when the situation warrants it and as such we have not seen him be scared of us at all. We really only use it sparingly but when its needed you will be glad you have it. Side note it's great when you dont want to make a lot of noise at night or in other settings its wonderful.

   My dog likes to ride with us in the car. But everytime we start to stop, he would start frantically barking as though we might leave him in the car. We have never left him in the car. We were resorting to wearing noise canceler headphones ourselves! We purchased this product and it works! When he first started up with a little bark, I pointed the device at him, and said,"Quiet". No yelling, and I didn't even press the button on the device but he stopped with just a little muffled snort. We are still working on the behaviour but I am confident that this device will help us solve our dog's unwanted barking and he will be a happy traveler! And so will we!
