At first I was nervous; when we took it out of the box it was flat and the fabric felt thin, but once we fluffed it up and put it together with the added insert it was much better! Our cat loves them so we ordered another for him to hide in. As a lot of other reviews mention, they are perfect for putting in those bookshelves and we also stored another under our coffee table and our entertainment center. It's a great bed!
