   These are great. Got them for pen making/disassembly. They work great as punches to disassemble pen kits and as rods mounted in a drill chuck on the lathe for squaring blanks on a disc sander (mounted in the headstock). They are a few bucks cheaper on Amazon than on the pen-making websites and are exactly the same thing. I highly recommend them!

   All the usual letters and numbers are here. 6 and 9 are the same punch so don't let that surprise you. Mine weren't in order when I got them so I invested about 10 minutes putting them in order and facing them all the same direction. They fit perfectly so as to not get out of order when you pull one out. Though for the sake of your sanity only pull one or two out at a time so they'll go back in easily and you won't have to hunt for the "&" and accidentally use the "@". Also, a wordof warning. They are covered in a tacky black grease to prevent rust. They will leave marks on your hands and whatever else they touch. But don't clean them. They will last much longer if you don't.

   Good value. Other sets can cost much more & they're the same thing, so, yes I'd recommend this product. It may be normal but we find them a little difficult to read. The letters are small & the same color. These should include instructions on how to use! We eventually figured it out, but there is a light handed technique to hammering these punches that's more effective than a hard whack. It also depends on what type of metal you're striking. Using a straight-edge or rule would help keep lettering straight.
