I was a bit weary about ordering this but I thought to myself, Ive wasted more money on worse things in the past so I decided to give it a try. They work amazing and I’ve since bought the double gang cutout as well. It’s a bit shaky to get it started so I would recommend that would just push from the get go. If you ease into it, they jump around a bit when starting but if you just dive in, they get going. At least on drywall. I have not actually used them on anything else. I mainly do remodeling and add a lot of low voltage spots like Ethernet and RG6 but have ran plenty of new switches as well. Don’t waste time with a keyhole saw anymore. This is half the time.

I put a sheet of paper, blue-taped to the baseboard, to capture all the dust. There will be dust. But the cutout chunk also is FANTASTIC to use for taking to paint store to get a perfect match if needed. Put in ziplock, and label it, store it safely for the future. I just wish I needed to make a bunch more holes in my walls...
