Perfectly appropriate for work and durable enough that I'm not afraid to wear it on the weekends. I really wanted a gold and silver tone watch with a stretchy band, easy to read numbers, and a date display, that also was still somewhat feminine on my wrist. Usually metal watches have a buckle and it always slips off! But this one is very secure and adjustable, you can add or remove the extra piece for it to be longer or shorter.
