   Glued the owl on a fence post of my PVC fence with the owl's face looking at the pond that is 30yards away. Neighbors had been feeding the whistler ducks and the flock had grown to over 25. Prior to install the ducks had been coming into my backyard and swimming in my pool. That stopped immediately following installation of the owl. There are no longer any whistler ducks nearby

   This ended the problem of bird crap on the porch including our chairs and table. Worked so well that we bought another for the deck on the back of the house. It sits 'lookout' out over the entire deck and eliminated bird crap there as well. Pretty inexpensive for a real solution. Low Cost/High Impact! - I would recommend it!

   Well worth the money! These Owl Decoys are great. I put about 3/4 full of sand so they are heavy enough to stand up with a heavy wind. Just to be n the safe side, I am going to glue the plastic wind fin to the Owl. The Owls keep the squirrels out of our fig and pomegranate trees. When I plant my persimmon tree I will purchase two more Owls. Well worth the money!

   I bought this owl to keep the birds at a distance and away from my raised tomato bed (on my deck). The wind will spin his head from side to side...he gives us a chuckle when we sit outside. You should keep moving him so the birds don't catch on to him being fake. My husband likes him too. I initially bought him to stop the birds from pooping on the new benches I bought for our backyard - and it worked. So the owl is doing double-duty. ;-)

   So a week or so ago I was here reading reviews to determine if this would help keep the birds away from our patio furniture. Not that we mind birds but they were landing on our chairs and covering them with poop daily. We'd clean it up and they would back the next day making another mess. So I figured for such a low price, why not give this a try. Much to our delight, we wake up to clean patio chairs daily and not a bird in sight! Not sure how far of a range this deterrent is supposed to cover but honestly I just wanted my table and chairs free from bird waste. We placed it right in the center of our outdoor dining table and it's has worked like a charm. It makes a nice centerpiece too!
