   When I opened the box I thought it had dust on it, and that it was either used or hadn't been stored in the box it was shipped in, but it was just the filter fabric being low quality and "stringy", idk how else to describe it. It feels like soft felt whereas the namebrand felt stiffer. I don't know how well it will hold up since it didn't finally arrive until after the worst of summer was over and I don't need to use it anymore, but it does at least fit in the unit.

   So, I got this thing to go camping and try to not be as hot in my TENT; I did not expect it to cool down a room, ect. It is to be used like a fan, and I had super low expectations based on the reviews; this thing, blows me away. I'm a texan and I'm used to hot, humid environment; but I end up using this in my bedroom at night instead of running my AC now bc IT WORKS THAT WELL! As long as it is pointing towards me within at 5 foot radius, it works super well. I hook it up to a USB cable when I camp and a battery, and its legit so amazing.

   This little AC really does cool down a 'space'. I have it in my bedroom on a table beside the bed. It is great at this time of the year especially here in Nova Scotia where our Spring isn't always very warm , but still warm enough to need a bit of cool air. Enter this little AC! The only thing I would like people to know is that it cannot cool a whole room, for that we need our big window AC's. Before I got this one, I had the model before this one and I was happy with that as well, but couldn't find it this year so ordered the ultra and once again I am very happy with the way it works.

   I really didn't think it would work as well as it does. My daughter is disabled and heat bothers her so I hot it in an emergency. It is a pretty nice machine. It takes a bit to get it going, have to wet the thing put it in the freezer fill it with water then it cool the room is big it was good enough to cool down my kid, the rabbit and the puppy.
