   I was not sure about the shape of this pillow or how the "ear hole" would be, but I slept so fantastic the first night there were no lingering doubts. I had been worried that I would fight with the pillow all night to make sure the right area was on my back, but I discovered that the pillow is equally comfortable either way and still provides the support my body needs. It's also comfortable as a back rest when watching television or reading before bed as it provides a "snuggle" when needed. I plan to take this with me on any overnight trips and I'm considering getting another one as well. Highly recommend!

   My (chiropractor) husband (I don't have a husband who is NOT a chiropractor, just the one) originally bought me this pillow, to save my neck. It fulfills my need to have some contact on my stomach, without sleeping on my stomach. I guess you could say it's an artificial spooner. It worked great for about two years, but lost its volume, as any pillow will. I was delighted to find one again on Amazon (a veritable cornucopia of useful things), and replaced that pillow. Love it. It DOES save my neck!

   This pillow works very well for me, helping me sleep better. The best feature of it is, in my opinion, the hole in the middle for ear clearance. I've always had a problem with my ears getting painfully squashed when sleeping on my side, even with very soft pillows. This pillow solves that.
   Also, it may be designed for side sleeping, but it's comfortable for sleeping on my back too. The rounded back of my skull fits in the ear hole, holding my head stable and well supported.
   These pillows don't last a long time. In 6-9 months the shredded foam stuffing squashes down and the pillow gets thinner and loses its comfort. I'm on my third one now. But, the improved sleeping is worth the money to me. I'll keep buying them....and watching to see if someone else makes a more durable version.
   Do not attempt to wash these pillows! Ignoring the warnings, I tried it with pillow #2. It blew up into a hundred pieces in the washing machine. No one was injured, but it was a mess.

   I always make sure i have one availlable whenever and wherever i sleep.
   The only thing i could say that might be considered a negative about this item would be that they arent that durable and long lasting and the cover that comes with it is very flimsy and does not hold up well during multiple washes in the machine.. even on delicate cycles. Aftermarket covers are availlable but commonly at a price that is comparible to or higher than the pillow itself.
   All in all though.., i wont sleep without them! :)

   It took me a few days to get used to it, but now I love it. The support of the neck and the way it wraps around your shoulder gives great support. I have tried all pillows for side sleeping, but none gave me the support this pillow does. Even my doctor uses one and swears by it also. I purchased 2 for gifts for my side-sleeping friends and they love it. I do wish it came with an extra pillow case as the plastic zipper broke after months of washing, but I just safety pin it together. I recommend for all sidesleepers who are still looking for that comfort and support for a good night's sleep.

I have tried so many different pillows for the neck, some work better than others but have kept searching for relief. This pillow has been a life changer. I feel like I am back to a normal nights sleep. I sleep deeper and don't wake up with headaches, neck or rib pain anymore. I never realized how important back support was for side sleeping until I tried this pillow. I will never look for any other pillow shape again. I finally found my relief.    I am so glad I mentioned my sleep problems to a friend. She too had issues and had bought this pillow years ago. I'd tried just about every other shape, size, density, etc. to no avail. Since using this pillow, I've not awakened in the morning with a stiff neck or shoulder pain. I've had 2 because I tried to launder the first one with sneakers and towels (trying to make a full load) and the seams didn't hold up. The pillow is good enough that I immediately ordered another. I use the ear indentation as a guide and it really does keep me comfortably aligned. Woohoo! A product that performs as advertised.

   I've had this pillow for a few years now. I love it but it was not firm enough for me. Luckily I had been given a little pillow with the same filling so I just tore it apart and added it to this one. I did end up going to EBay and purchasing custom made pillow cases for it. They were a little spendy for a pillow case. I do wish they made a larger pillow.
