They are smaller than some glasses, but based on dime spins given was expected and actually perfect size to make it look like shark is swimming. It isn't that delicate compared to higher end glasses I have, you can't slam it around- it's glass, but I walked to party, carried around, knocked it over, carried it around more and walked a couple blocks home. Never once worried it was going to break and it didn't thankfully when I knocked it over. I will enjoy this for years to come and my kids find it hilarious.
