You would be crazy if you passed up on this little gem. It works like a charm and it is sooo easy to use. I highly recommend because it's so easy to use - even our kids had it figured out in a split second.    Product will do exactly as expected. I am installing vinyl flooring in my basement and am planning on using this to mark all of the odd cuts on the flooring prior to cutting such as the columns. This contour gauge seems well built and the lock feature works well. I have yet to use if for it's intended purpose, but I have played with it around the house.

   We had fun just pressing the saker contour gauge against everything just to check out the shapes! It is going to be a tremendous help for us when we replace the tiles in our bathrooms. My husband is always building something, he's going to really enjoy this. I got it for Father's Day he just loves it. Cutting odd shapes finally made very very simple! A++++. The only down is that we wish it could have been a little longer do you have one that's a little longer?

   I saw this on a video and thought it was a genius idea. My husband and I do most things ourselves and had done hardwood floors in the entire house and tiles in the bathrooms and laundry room. Man, do I wish we would've had this back then for all the door frames cutting and the toilet too. We moved to another house with mostly carpet and are getting ready to do this all over again, but this time around we are getting mayor help with the countour gauge. We did a little trial test with a door frame, what a dream, after the cut it fit like a glove, no more cutting the same piece just bits at a time for a perfect fit. Just one measure, one cut, perfect fit, it doesn't get any easier. We are very excited for our project to begin.

   Very nice contour gauge, I have had the ones with the round wires however the wires get bent with use and storage, and it becomes a pain to use afterwards. This one seems to solve that problem and also gives you the ability to adjust the tension. There are similar ones out there but do not know if they are deep enough or made with the same quality build as this model, it does sell for a bit more than others but I believe it is worth the extra money. Great replacement for my old wire gauge. After receiving it I tested it out on a few items, door jambs moldings etc to adjust the tension to my liking and now have it ready for whenever I need it, for tiling, wood trim work to make a plaster guide copy the molding profile around curved surfaces. Very happy with this gauge.

   I wish I had this when I was cutting some trim to run along the baseboard trim, it would have saved me so much time. Easy to use, just press up against whatever you're trying to trace. Some people say that it's too stiff to move, but I don't really think so. Nice variation in sizes as well.I would buy again.
