   I took this on a beach vacation and had a blast putting it together. Much better than a jigsaw puzzle! But you need patience. And definitely master the instructions before starting. The manual is IKEA-style, but more complicated. My daughter has already bought me another one for a gift and I can't wait to open it up! I do not know what other companies are like, but ROKR was top quality!

It's not complete yet but it's definitely a challenge for my 66 yr old construction retired hands. Super fun, well built, a challenge to put together, but not frustrating, definitely doable. Be careful taking the pieces apart. Some of them weren't cut as were shown and we snapped them.

   This was an above average marble run kit. It's my 4th one and this one has a few features I really appreciate. I liked that Rokr didn't stick with plain unfinished plywood. The inclusion of some plexiglass and colored wood made for a more visually interesting build and using metal axles made this one of my smoothest running kits. This certainly shouldn't be your first build, but if you've made a few you'll have more than a few challenges, but not many frustrations. If I had to pick nits, I'd say I'm not crazy with the way the ramps fasten to their mount. They're not terribly secure and can come out of alignment if the base flexes a little. In addition, towards the end the illustrations get a little lazy and they clearly want you to refer to the video (which seems like cheating to me)

   This set is very cool. Similar to other sets I've gotten by this company, the instructions are well done and fairly easy to understand. The build requires careful attention. While construction is excellent, you're still working with very thin wood and tiny pieces. Since the fit must be precise, use care because too much force can bend/break a piece.Compared to similar sets, this build is more challenging/time consuming. It uses screws though a few dabs of glue does help in some spots. The finished product is pretty awesome.

   I thoroughly enjoy all of these wooden puzzles. The pieces are perfectly cut and fit snugly as they should. The instructions can be a bit challenging but that is part of what I like about assembling these – the challenge of making it work. Once finished, I always get positive comments from others, and a few are so intrigued that they will be getting one of their own this Christmas.

   I loved this, from the hunting through the slates to find the part you need, to sanding all the pieces to perfection, to the firm yet delicate way you press the wood together. Loved it, wish I could take it apart to do it again.Side thoughts: really look at the instructions closely. I found parts that look very similar but are in fact different sizes. Also, going back can be rough, the wood isn't as snug and the orings are almost impossible to get of without a lot of force. So go slow and really pay attention.

Everything is included that you will need to produce a real showpiece. Even extra parts and tools. See my photo and video for proof that this kit is the real thing. I added a few things and made some minor tweaks which you will see on the photo. Highly recommended

   This is my first time doing a "3d puzzle," but even so, I can confidently say that this puzzle is top notch from the quality of each piece and the precision they are cut. You are provided detailed instructions, and every piece is identified with a letter and number, so you know where everything is. Even though all the parts are high quality and well cut, you still have to be incredibly careful and precise when piecing this together. I'm guilty of breaking several pieces, but there are extras provided; I believe this is the main reason this puzzle is so challenging. They say that no glue is needed, which is accurate; however, I still used some common PVA glue in several places to help some frustrating pieces.
