If I want to come back to 2022 - I stream music via Bluetooth because this Victrola does that too. Backwards a few decades and plop in a CD.

   This is an especially attractive player, but, unfortunately, the sound is somewhat low and muffled, even if one turns the volume knob all the way to the maximum, and there is also no mechanism whereby one can equalize the sound. I feel that I have to practically be sitting right next to the player to hear it loud and clear. It's a pity because it's such an incredible-looking device.

   Other then they sent me black instead of red that I ordered I am very happy with my purchase. This record player is very very nice and a good deal for the money. Fm tuner feels very solid and can be dialed in very well. Cd player works great and record player had no issues straight out the box. Looks retro and very nice even for it being mostly plastic still looks and feels high end. Do NOT believe the negative reviews on sound quality!! Our one level 1700 sq ft home and u can hear it thru whole house not even on loudest setting. It sounds fantastic for what this is. A great affordable muti use player at a great price. Sound is easily great for a living room or mancave or kitchen player. I also noticed some records are the culprit for low sound not the machine. Wifes evanescence record is plenty loud and my acdc still loud but not as loud so ppl that may be knocking the sound it cld very well be their record. Because this thing is plenty loud and clear for disc and record and radio!! Well worth a purchase. I'll update if any issues or reliability issues months from now. Id say buy it and don't hesitate at this point.

   I have missed playing CDs. I don't care what anybody says, there's nothing like all the old CDs we bought. This is perfect. It came this afternoon and I've been playing CDs all evening; I love it. I forgot how many great artists and discs I have. It's a great price and well worth it. Now I'm even excited to go out and buy some records. I haven't listened to a record in years.    My 45 RPM - RCA Victor died ... and decided to try this Turntable as it's hard to find a local repair shop for a 40's Record Player. I was hesitant as you can't stack the records for automatic "drop 'n play" like the RCA, but those type of turntables are difficult to find these days. But ended up purchasing this item. No regrets! Now I did purchase a 7" turntable mat and a 45RPM adapter. This turntable came with the 45RPM plastic adapter but I chose a heavier one from AMZN when I purchased the mat. Must say that this definitely improved the sound and the playback. Without the mat and the new adapter the sound was okay but it seemed like the record didn't rotate that well and sound was a bit "warbled". But the mat and the adapter improved the rotation and thus the sound. Sound is "close" enough to my old RCA; doesn't have the warmth of the tubes but it works for my 45's. I won't be using this for my LP's as I have a Turntable specifically for them; this turntable is perfect for my intentions.

   I love this purchase! It's in my dining room, with volume I can hear in kitchen or living room. I used it to play Christmas CDs before the holidays, and to play some new (Christmas gifts) and old vinyls. Vinyl sounds wonderful. The FM radio does not pull in stations very well, but I'm using it more for playing my collection. I'm looking forwarding to using it to digitize some of my music. Bluetooth feature works great with my phone. Highly recommend. And I love the retro design.
