I can hear the person I'm talking to perfectly and they say they can hear me just fine. The only bad thing I can say is that the directions are pretty bad, probably written by someone who thinks they can speak english!! The handset is pretty much identical in size to a vintage one (but much lighter!) Had no problems connecting it to my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Range is really good... I left my phone in my bedroom and walked clear across the house with the handset. I'm using a vintage phone base for it's "charging station" - the matte color is in contrast with the shiny original (in case you were thinking of doing the same). The sound is not as good as my actual phone, but I could still hear everything well - just a lesser quality of sound. Definitely worth the price.
