I've been able to control it 25' away while at a depth of 4' and i suspect the range is even greater but those are the maximum dimensions of my pool. You won't regret spending the money on it.

My biggest complaint is that it s center line is slightly off so if traveling forward fast it sometimes will reach the surface due to angle of attack.
