   It is stable and so easy to fly (my 7 year old grandson mastered it minutes) so much better than another brand which was delieved broken and the replacement did not last long. That other brand needed constant trimming of the remote control and was difficult to land without risking an accident. This one is easy to trim and the settings are stable. The stunts are simple to do and swapping batteries is easy. I have not yet tried it outside but it handles the currents from AC well indoors and so I think it would be OK outside if the wind is very light. It is tiny, and would be hard to find, depending on where it lands. Batteries are said to last about 7 minutes, but I timed it at about 8 minutes. The instructions are excellent, easy to understand. These are new so I cannot yet comment on durability yet. I have had to return so many products of all kinds that seemed to be poorly designed and built, it was a delight to finally find something at this price range that works great.

   The little grandson was ecstatic when I handed him the quad, and the remote. It only took one time to show him how to turn both on. So far all of his 50 or so flights have been to send the quad straight up to the ceiling of our livingroom and keep it stuck there for a few seconds before he shuts it down and it comes crashing down attacking anything in it's path. It has done no harm to the house or better yet to people. He has yet to learn how to make the quad hover or to control it's horizontal direction. Still he is having so much fun he cries when the battery is drained and he has to wait for it to recharge. Our quads are older versions without replaceable batteries. It's great that this one comes with three batteries.

   I bought this for my 9 year old as a starter drone. I thought it would be a good choice since it's small and he would be able to fly it in doors no matter the weather. The drone came and it's about the size of my hand. My son started practicing with flying it around our living room and I was immediately impressed. When starting, it has altitude control not allowing the drone to take off to the sky as soon as it starts. It flies smooth and is easy to learn, yet just challenging enough for a child. The quality of the drone and controller is actually above my expectations. My son has accidentally crashed the drone multiple times while learning and it still works like when we first unboxed it. I highly recommend this as a starter drone and or drone for kids who are learning the ins and outs of controlling the drone.

And don't get a mini drone with a camera it just adds weight takes away battery life and the picture qualities crap. Get this drone.
